My Successful Experience with Food Allergy and Weight Loss. Hello, and welcome the Your Food is Your Remedy Channel. In this video, I will talk about my experience with food allergies and food intolerance. And how stopping to eat the food I am allergic to, and taking a good type of probiotics daily, helped me lose the weight that would not budge before. The disappointment: A healthy diet with exercise has not resulted in weight loss. When I was diagnosed with diabetes several years ago, I adopted a healthy lifestyle and started to exercise four days a week. At that time I had a problem when I was trying to lose weight. It was very very difficult for me to lose weight. I always had a swollen face and other parts of my body that looked like a bee just stung me in those areas. Recognizing the food allergies and food intolerance. When I consulted a holistic at the gym at that time, she told it seems like I am allergic or sensitive to certain foods. Of course, I had no knowledge of any food allergies. I had been tested positive for environmental allergies only, such as dust mites, and tree pollen and more. Allergies: The body is exposed to certain substances, but the immune system rejects them and considers them harmful. Environmental allergies are when the body is exposed to any type of allergens but the immune system rejects them such as tree pollen, grasses, and other allergens. The immune system considers it harmful to the body. The symptoms were clear in my case such as skin rash, itching of the eyes and throat, tears and more. Sugar harms our lives more than it sweetens it. The only food I knew was hurting my body, and I used to feel like my stomach on fire was the white sugar. Therefore, I do not drink anything hot drink with sugar since then. I did not use it for many years, even before I was diagnosed with diabetes. And I never had these symptoms again. The doctor is the only one who gives the diagnosis for the type of allergies. It was difficult for me to recognize the symptoms of food allergy. So I went to an allergist and had allergy skin prick and intradermal skin tests in three stages, by injecting the skin or body with small amounts of allergens. I was surprised by the type and amount of foods that cause me allergies. I was positive for food that I eat regularly like, broccoli, carrots, peas, hazelnuts, almonds, and others, including many fruit trees. Almond is the only food I was not surprised at being allergic. Although I have been eating almonds all my life, I noticed that my throat tightens when I eat it. So I stopped eating it before the tests. Food allergies have a direct effect on inflammation of the stomach and digestive system. I became very interested and research the impact of food allergies on the digestive system. The scientific research proves that food allergies and intolerances cause inflammation of the stomach and digestive system, making it difficult for a person to lose weight. Two European studies of normal weight children and overweight children show a direct relationship between food allergies, the cause of inflammation, and irritability for children who are overweight, other than other diseases caused by food allergies. Self-observation of food intolerance. In order to complete food evaluation, the holistic suggested choosing foods that might be causing inflammation and hurting my body and evaluate them on my own. Every morning I would eat breakfast from one type of food that I thought was causing me problems. For example, I will choose bread, milk, or pumpkin seed. And I would eat breakfast just from that kind of food, and then write about how I feel. Two hours later, I would write how I feel and if any change has occurred, like swelling, difficulty breathing or any other physical discomfort. Identify foods that are appropriate for your body to help you lose weight. This method may not work for everyone, but it worked for me. I was able to identify some of the foods that irritate me when I consume them. Of course, it is difficult for most of us to determine the type of food that cause us harm. Therefore, this method helps you point to and identify foods that your body does not tolerate. And of course when I stopped eating the foods I am allergic and have an intolerance to them, it made a big difference in my life. I’ve begun to lose weight naturally and easily. So When I follow a healthy diet, take probiotics, and walk daily, I see positive results Make the decision: to your food is your remedy. First, visit an allergist to determine the type of food cause you to have an allergic reaction. Second, check for food intolerances the way that I have described. Hopefully, you will get better results losing weight, and even protecting your body from potential diseases by eating foods that match your body since everyone person has a different experience with food.
