Connect the heliox gas source to the ventilator. Put the ventilator into stand-by mode. Open the system and then the gas source window and activate “Heliox”. When heliox is active the alarm lamp is lit in blue. After switching the gas source, we recommend that you calibrate the flow sensor. Wait two minutes before calibrating the flow sensor to allow the mixture to stabilize. Make sure the flow sensor and tightness tests are completed successfully before continuing. Set the desired ventilation mode, adjust the parameters and start ventilation. To switch back to the gas source “Air”, firstly put the ventilator into stand-by mode Open system and then the gas source window and select “Air”. Disconnect the heliox gas supply. After switching the gas source, we recommend that you calibrate the flow sensor. Wait two minutes before calibrating the flow sensor to allow the mixture to stabilize. Make sure the flow sensor and tightness tests are completed successfully before continuing. Set the desired ventilation mode, adjust the parameters and start ventilation.
