– In patients with high cholesterol, a healthy diet and reasonable exercise regimen are important. I can’t give you an
exact dose for treating high cholesterol but we
do have recommendations as to appropriate amounts of
exercise for general health which involves patients
with high cholesterol. Generally we’re talking
about four times a week for 30 to 45 minutes as a minimum with moderate intensity exercise. You got to get a little bit of a sweat in order for that exercise
to be really meaningful.
