& Throat (Instant Result) The most common culprit of summer sinus problems
is allergies and hay fever. We don’t hear enough about how pet hair, pollen, dander,
dust and dust mites and even milk or how certain food allergies cause sinus problems. But what
else about those hot days cause our sinuses to go ballistic?
For starters, stop consuming cold food and drinks. You should also quit smoking, as the
nasty habit leads to chest congestion and irritates the respiratory tract. One often hears about sudden extreme temperature
changes causing increased sinus pain and a stuffy or a runny nose, but how? There are millions of tiny hair-like structures
called cilia that make up the mucus membrane, which lines your nose and sinuses. These cilia
work together as a broom, helping to get rid of stagnant mucus that may block the sinuses.
Your mucus membranes prefer a moist warm environment as opposed to it being very cold or very hot. On hot summer days, the air is very dry causing
the mucus in your nose to become thick and sticky. This makes it difficult for the cilia
to move or “sweep” the excess mucus out. This thick mucus then blocks the sinuses.
When mucus flow is interrupted or blocked, it often becomes hard in nature and causes
pressure and congestion. The pressure and the congestion then cause you to experience
pain, stuffiness, and headaches. Increased presence of phlegm in the lungs
may result in fever, weakness, runny nose, persistent cough and difficulty breathing.
If not expelled, the excess phlegm may block the bronchial tubes and cause much bigger
problems, which are hard to treat with conventional medications. Luckily, there are some natural remedies which
can reduce the amount of phlegm and treat respiratory infections easily and effectively.
Here are the best of them: Honey-Lemon Ginger Tea A mixture of honey and lemon can soothe your
irritated respiratory tract and bring much-needed relief. Honey is a powerful antibacterial
and antifungal agent, and we can say the same for lemon as well. This tropical fruit is
rich in vitamin C which will reinforce your immune system and reduce congestion easily. Ginger is a powerful natural decongestant
and antihistamine that possesses expectorant and antibacterial properties. The root can
soothe your chest and throat congestion by drying out the phlegm and stimulating its
elimination. In order to treat a respiratory infection
and keep yourself healthy, eat 3-4 slices of ginger every day, or drink a couple of
cups of ginger tea. Here’s how to prepare the tea: Ingredients: 1 tablespoon raw organic honey (we recommend
this) 2 tablespoons organic lemon juice, freshly
squeezed 6 slices organic ginger
2 cups water Instructions: Cook the water in a pan, then add the ginger
when it starts to boil. Now, cover the pan and leave the mixture to boil for a minute,
then lower the heat and simmer for 5-7 minutes. Take the pan off the heat and leave it to
cool down, then strain it and add a teaspoon of organic honey. Drink 2-3 cups of ginger tea every day to
relieve the congestion and breathe easier. Steaming Steaming is one of the best ways of reducing
chest congestion and loosening up the mucus in the chest. Breathing in the vapors and
steam will loosen up the clogged mucus and provide some much-needed relief, and you can
get even better results by infusing the water with herbs. Here’s how: Ingredients: ½ a teaspoon of dry rosemary
½ a teaspoon of thyme 4-5 cups of boiling water
Instructions: Add the thyme and rosemary to boiling water
in a bowl, then lean over it with a towel over your head and inhale the steam. Repeat
the process 3-4 times a day for best results. To control the production of mucus in your
body, use a humidifier in your home, and avoid exposure to paint fumes, household cleaners
and chemical as they irritate the throat, nose, and lungs. Finally, when you notice phlegm in your throat,
don’t swallow it – just gargle some warm water and salt and spit it out. To thin it
out and break up the congestion, consuming spicy foods such as garlic and peppers can
help.

  4. 1 teaspoon of "Cream of Tartar" in a glass of orange Juice daily will clear the lungs. (6-8 oz of orange Juice). With all the Chemtrailing this is a necessity to detox the lungs.

  5. I thought it is something new…. though it works but twas slow for me. I treat myself for more than 20 yrs with boiled oregano and it works even it is a smoker's cough, I sleep through the night. This remedy was a practice during colonial time, though it works wonder, it may not be for everyone….some may have allergy reactions to it. So, anyone who wants to try it….you have to take a sip and gargle I mean tilt your head up and slowly swallow it, then repeat until no itchiness then you'll experience coughing up some mucus. In the morning you will cough up some more, too. So, if you are a smoker, better reduce smoking or stop it.

  13. Greetings to the general public, Am JOHN MORGAN, i want to inform the public on how i was cured of HERPES Simplex Virus by a Doctor called Dr. OSEREMEN. i visited different hospital but they gave me list of drugs like Famvir, Zovirax, and Valtrex which is very expensive to treat the symptoms and never cured me. I was browsing through the Internet searching for remedy on HERPES and i saw comment of people talking about how DR OSEREMEN cured them. when i contacted him he gave me hope and send a Herbal medicine to me that i took and it seriously worked for me, am a free person now without problem, my HERPES result came out negative. 14. Hot Grand Marnier works well.  So does hot ginger/lemon tea with a shot of vodka.  Anything sweet doesn't sit well on the stomach.

  15. How can honey and/or lemon in any kind of tea soothe your bronchial tract unless you pour it into your lungs? Tea can soothe your throat but goes into your gastrointestinal tract and can't do a damn thing for your lungs.

  16. I love avocados but when I consume them, I develop a lot of mucus.
So unfortunately I have to avoid them for healthy fat and yummy addition to my meals. I’m a smoker trying to quit. When I smoke I spit a ton because of the massive amount of saliva I produce when smoking. Not all
“ healthy” foods are healthy for the masses. I love ginger but have been told that I have a food sensitivity to it, mint, coconut, sesame are just a few of the others.

  17. MOST IMPORTANT
Don't cook the honey, it should be raw and added when the tea is off the heat. It, becomes toxic when cooked )

  18. Steam breathing is best and easy. I take a bowl of hot steaming water , add just 1 drop of Eucalyptus oil or Olesan or Vicks. I place this bowl near my pet baby’s face when he is lying down on his mat. Then I take a thin bed sheet or any cloth and I cover the bowl and his head upto his chest. I hold up the sheet a little so it doesnt touch the water and also creates a balloon-like space over his head which gets filled with the rising steam. To make it even more comfortable I lift the cover about an inch from one end so the steam can escape and it is not too hot for him. He loves the rising steam and starts breathing easy. In 5 minutes he falls asleep with gentle snoring., After about 5-7 minutes I remove the bowl. At this stage its important to keep him warm, no cold air or AC.

  19. Here’s my remedy: hold head back, squeeze lemon into your mouth and let juice flow down your throat. Swallow. Next keep head back and squeeze raw honey right from bottle into your mouth and swallow as it flows down your throat. Use as much as you want of both lemon and honey anytime. No need to boil or mix anything. Don’t even use a spoon. My throat and chest loves this remedy.
