Hi, I’m Dr. Tammy Ruefli on behalf of Expert
Village, I’m here to talk to you about food allergies and how to deal with them. Another
factor to look at when it comes to digestion is the amount of hydrochloric acid in your
stomach. If your hydrochloric acid is low you won’t be properly digesting your food.
So what we can do in that situation is to get some raw apple cider vinegar and put it
in a little shot glass and simply add some filtered water and take a shot before you
eat your food. This will aide your stomach and digesting it on the other hand if you
have a lot of heartburn you probably have too much acid and do not want to drink that
before you eat. In both cases it is imperative that you take your digestive enzymes with
every meal. Also remember if you are drinking too much fluids while you are eating your
meal this will dilute your stomach acid so it is best just to sip.

  1. Apparently, you don't have to be an expert to be on expertvillage. I'm all for looking for natural remedies, but this is so irresponsible to suggest you can eat foods that you're allergic to if you take a vinegar shot first. I agree with goomjiji…allergies have everything to do with your IMMUNE SYSTEM…not your digestive system.
