Okay now that we’ve got the medication out
of the package and we’ve determined that it has not expired and it is colorless as it
should be, the next step is to actually remove the medication, the individual dosage. You
want to be careful as you’re pulling it out because you don’t want to break apart this
part right down here because that’s where the medicine will come out. So you see as
I broke apart just one, and then you’re going to want to make sure that you do put the rest
of those in the foil fairly, fairly shortly. So once I have that open, I haven’t opened
this part yet, so the medication is still inside of the plastic. I’m going to go to
this apparatus right here which is where the medicine is going to be stored and where it’s
going to be dispersed from when the nebulizer is running. So as you can see there’s actually
two parts to this; there’s a little green cone that goes on inside. The next thing that
you’re going to do is actually open the medication and you don’t want to be putting any pressure
right here with your fingers as you’re twisting this because sometimes it will squirt out
and obviously you don’t want to do that, you want the medicine to get inside of the person
that it’s intended for. So just very gently twist without putting pressure with your fingers,
keep twisting until it comes off all the way. Then you pour it into here. Just like that
and then you’re going to connect these pieces, you don’t want just shove it. With this particular
one you just want to gently twist it and it’s on there snug. Then you’ve got the medication
in here, it’s ready to be hooked up and ready to be used.

  1. god dammit lady how long does it take you to show us how to put the damn thing together, you spend 2 min on washing hands 2 min on pouring medicein. you fucking tard were not that stupid. im surprised your not showing us how to wipe are own ass.

  2. its a matter of being thorough. some people like myself do not have very much experience in doing treatments and they need a in depth step by step instructional aid as their guide. She helped me immensely. Some people don't know how to do these things especially if they're new to the whole idea.

  3. im buying a nebulizer for my dad but was wondering where do i get the medicine or what kind of medicine and can i use essential oils

  4. These nebulizers can be difficult to use you also have 2 make sure your hands are extremely clean when handling the medication and there time consuming to use you probably wouldn't even put it together correctly!

  5. in response to gerard solis.  your comments are abusive and unacceptable.  you are the one that looked for this information.  the least you can do is be thankful that there is someone who fully explains everything to a pea brain like you.  you would be the one to try and sue the company if you got an infection from dirty hands.  get a life.

  6. Thank you for thoroughly explaining to us how to load the medicine in the nebulizer as this is most important to parents who have never had to do this and are administering this treatment to an infant.  I am very grateful and thankful for this video as the person in the Dr's office felt it a waste of time to go over this part more than once with me…

  7. Thank you for these videos! I've had a nebulizer for a year now, but my mom is the one who always sets it up for me when I need it. But tomorrow she'll be at work and I don't have any puffs left on my Advair disk, so I need to set the nebulizer up myself. It's complicated! So many parts and replacement parts in the box, I couldn't figure out what to do! But thanks to your videos, I just need to put in the medicine and I'll be ready for the hell I'll be enduring until my Advair refill gets sorted out.

    Thank you!!!

  8. Q: can i use electric cigarette instead of the regular nebulizer?
E-Cigs vaporizes liquids and inhaled through the mouth as well. its portable and easy to use.

  9. can you load a nebulizer with essential oils and inhale it directly through the mouth or nose? I never used essential oils so I really don't know if it's safe to inhale directly through a nebulizer

  10. A formidable video, I simply given this onto a colleague who was doing a bit analysis on this. And he actually bought me breakfast because I discovered it for him.. smile. So let me reword that: Thnx for the deal with! But yeah Thnkx for spending the time to debate this, I feel strongly about it and love studying extra on this topic. If doable, as you grow to be experience, would you thoughts updating your video with more particulars? It is highly helpful for me. Huge thumb up for this video put up!

  11. Thanks a lot for the video. Appreciate making this video. I had no idea how to load the medicine. Your video helped.
