Yes, now as you know CFS patients are part
of a vast umbrella of various heterogenous subtypes and there is one subgroup I’ve identified
partly by symptoms of history of eczema, allergies, the occurrence of hives and some of these patients
also have elevated histamine levels which is a marker for a potential mast cell disorder.
Mast cells are also found in the brain near pain receptors. So one theory might be
that providing medication to treat elevated histamine levels may in fact influence inflammatory
molecules that also influence pain and other related symptoms in ME/CFS patients

  1. Could this pain include migraine or migraine like headaches? If so can allergy medication help alleviate the head pain?
