For patients who will be accessing our services
on a regular basis or over an extended period of time and for our cancer, dialysis and asthma
patients special permit spaces are available. If you are a cancer patient you’ll receive
a pink permit at your first appointment. The pink permit will allow you to take advantage
of special discounted parking rates and use reserved cancer parking spaces in Gidru, Ann
Baillie, lower George Street, waterfront lots and the City Park laneway. If you forget your pink permit ask the clerk
or a staff member in your clinic for a new one. If you are a dialysis patient you’ll receive
a parking permit allowing you to take advantage of special discounted parking rates and use
reserved dialysis parking spaces in Gidru parking lot located just off George Street. First purchase a parking receipt from the
pay and display machines in either the Gidru or Ann Baillie lot, leave both your permit
and parking receipt on your dashboard. Then you may proceed to your appointment through
the Gidru entrance to the dialysis unit. There are two designated asthma permit spaces
that require you to display a purchased parking receipt and your asthma permit on your dashboard. There are several accessible parking spaces
located close to the hospital including spaces near the Armstrong Wing entrance and the main
Kidd-Davies entrance. There are also spaces available in the underground
parking garage. To use these spaces you must pay whatever
fee is associated with that space and display your accessible parking permit and parking
receipt on your dashboard.
