it is February 6, 2020 at the cost of 129 EUR. I bought it at lidl. it’s a
plasma cutting machine for metals. this is the second version, pps 40 b2.
in fact, it is more equipped than that of the previous version, which
however in Italy it has not come out. so this is it the first time it comes out. and I am going to
test it. premise: I never have used an al cutting machine
plasma. in fact I don’t want this not even call it the review. will be more
what else a test, of this tool, shared with you. not being able
to use it and in any case having no experience, I can show you how experience, I can show you how it behaves in the hands
of a hobbyist, who for the first time buys such a tool.
obviously I will land on what is written in the instructions, so I’ll try to do
everything that is expected to come done, with this cutting machine … and that
which of course a hobbyist would buy this tool. it only works with
compressor. so if you are not equipped with a compressor you will not be able

4.0 bar and 4.5 bar. the nominal voltage is 230 V – 50 hertz.
the accessories supplied are: three burner casings, one already assembled.

the cable length, as we said is two meters. it can only be used with
compressor. are recommended to read the instructions. so as i say
always me, read and keep. is 3 years old
warranty, like all tools parkside of the green line. ok, it seems to me
to have already said everything. remember, that this tool goes
always used with protections. then a leather apron, gloves from
welder and welder mask. and mask to not inhale gas if you are indoors. now we can start. let’s start then
to make all the various connections, for to be able to use this cutter.

then … let’s start by connecting the terminal. simply connect by inserting into the

initially with the power off. then it screws. it is simple and intuitive.
It is not possible to make a mistake. here are two small holes, which must
match with the two pins. then, there is a guide, however, on the plastic that
does not allow us to erroneous position. once inserted, it also screws
this. and the connections are already made. after which, on the back there is the
key for “on and off” ignition, more the pressure regulator. in
front, we still have the regulator of amps, plus the lights of
overload and operating LEDs. the first thing we have to do is
connect the tube that feeds compressed air, to the cutter at the
same cutter. after which, al compressor. otherwise we would have one
uncontrolled release of air. to be able to connect, it is enough
push the tube in, and already gets stuck. to remove it instead
this must be pressed inwards blue plastic. and you can take it off. then the
I insert, after which, I can connect it to the compressor. has the classic graft, for
compressors. so it is enough insert it and it is already connected. as you see
the cutter is already set to four bar. however, it is not enough to regulate it in this
way. in the meantime, to be able to regulate it, one must lift this knob. then yes
can rotate. by rotating it, we will act on air pressure.
as you see, so it decreases. and in this way, by screwing, it increases. we have to
adjust the operating pressure for the cutter, with the cutter in

make the pressure of exercise, both between 4.0 and 4.5 Bar, with the button pressed. then the I adjust accordingly. so I will connect

the garage (3KW), manages to hold up both tools running. it is now set to 6.5 Bar.
pressing it should settle, adjusting then with the knob, between 4.0 and 4.5 Bar. as we have seen, after a few seconds, a
small 24 liter compressor starts. because the air is not enough. therefore,
it would be appropriate to use it with a compressor, which has a capacity
greater. I have both this and the 50 liter Parkside compressor,
available here. so I will do these tests with these two compressors, for
to be able to take the test better. so … I put on my gloves and let’s start
put a few pieces of metal there mask and bit we try it. I will cut
first this 3.5 mm iron. I have set the cutter to 25 amps. the working frequency of this tool interferes with the microphone …. already defective. I increased the amps. I put it between 30
and 35 amps. I also changed the compressor. so we use the 50 liter one e
let’s see if it lasts a little longer. definitely cut very well. let’s try
to make a long cut. this we have said that it is 3.5 mm. now we will also cut larger thicknesses. let’s try to make some shapes slightly
more complex. this is also a metal from 3.5 mm. let’s try the same amperage, too
with 6 mm. with an amperage between 30 and 35,
manages to cut. but with a little bit of difficulty. so I increased
the amperage and I put it between 35 and 40. just over 35. let’s see if it goes better, in the 6 mm. definitely yes. then I’m too wasteful. I’m not
managed to make a perfect cut, though however, I see in the already metal is separated. so I give another passed. and also the 6.mm one, manages to
cut it. sure, in expert hands, it will surely be better. however my hands are definitely not experts and we must be satisfied with this test. I set the amperage to maximum, so 40 amps. this is an 8mm piece. let’s see how it goes. I would say quite well. as you can see, he managed to run the
cut in metal. this is an 8mm iron. obviously we see that the hand does not
she is an expert. however, also in hand to a hobbyist, since these users are intended to hobbyists, it’s working. however it is
cutting the metal. let’s try to do something more pushed, trying to cut a centimeter. guys objectively struggled, though
work is doing it. therefore try again. second pass. then … let’s see in this test as extreme as it is
gone. he managed to cut, in part. but we are talking about 10 mm. in theory
maybe with another pass it would be succeeded. however, as the proof is
really extreme and, since in my opinion and in my humble opinion, a hobbyist will hardly need to cut material an inch,
I leave this test alone and I I focus on the more normal thicknesses.
therefore from 3 to 8 mm. now we will try to see the
difference between use with wheels and the one without wheels.

the same accessory, however, has one adjustment that allows us to decide
for good and to position so corrected the two wheels.

metal. ok. it’s about a millimeter. so it may be fine. apart from
the initial piece, where I was short stable, because in any case the

better than the opposite side. now I will make another use of the
plasma cutter. always on the advice of Daniele Cogoni, I will do the “gouging” of
welding. I will practically remove them defective welds. all my welds are defective. if I had to do it with all I would lose
a life. I’ll show you how it’s done. then … you have to set the pressure of
tool operation, at 2 Bar. then you have to move forward with the flashlight
inclined 45 degrees, in the sense of progress, to remove “wash away”, as Daniele told me, the defective weld. so let’s try. let’s see if I can do it
this “scripture”. it seems to me that it went well. let’s try it now, on this 5 mm plate
in aluminum. the machine is set to 30 amperes. I put it back at 4 .0 Bar’s
I have to increase. I put it at 35. Cut not superimposed on the previous one. I did two tests on another piece of
metal and I realized that even at 2.0 Bar, the machine can work.
let’s do the test, then on this iron from 3.5 mm. to my amazement, he also manages to work at
2.0 Bar. I got stubborn and I want to do one
even more extreme test. so I put it on at most amps, 40 amps 2.0 Bar.
let’s try to cut 8 mm. we can cut even 8 mm. I did
this test with eight millimeters, why as you often know in tests
I want to try to test the tools, really putting them underneath
effort. almost a little beyond their limit. let’s try with 6 mm which is a measure one
a little more standard. on the back, the collector

all the condensation that has accumulated. ok guys. I’m done with this test
of this plasma cutter, which to me personally like it, because anyway
manages to cut well. I will do other tests e I will try to perfect myself. and I will make a

obtain. because now, honestly not being practical, more than testing that
any hobbyist would do, that is what it’s me,
with a new tool … new then test it, not I can do. I simply had the
pleasure to share the first ones evidence. then opening the package
and the test. the same test you would do you just bought the car, in the
your garage, if you are not an expert. otherwise, if you are an expert, surely
you will get much better results of mine. therefore, as you also see with
2.0 Bar pressure, I managed to make this cut and this one
cut. managed to execute them perfectly without any problem.
so possibly the car, too if not set at 4.5 Bar,
can work. but I don’t take it no responsibility. I don’t know if the
machine is damaged. I don’t know what happens working with less pressure. I know
only that if it works it works. therefore, in the comments write, if you are from

at 2.0 Bar pressure or if you can do it safely.
so … what to say? simply there I like the car. there are little things to
know. so after using the machine continues to expel air.
