A preventer inhaler helps you to manage your
asthma. Don’t forget to shake it! You should use your preventer inhaler as it’s
been prescribed. Breathe out….
press and take a breath in. Hold it in and count to… 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 Breathe out. Children using an inhaler should always use
a spacer. Spacers aren’t just for kids. If you’re using
a preventer inhaler which looks like this, you should be using a spacer too. You can get one at your GP practice. Don’t wait to use your preventer inhaler
until you’re feeling poorly. Use it as regularly, as your doctor has prescribed. If you need help with using it, ask your asthma
