Do not try this in water, if you hyperventilate too much, you might reach such a low level of CO2 that you won't feel the urge to breathe even when you won't have enough O2 anymore. Lol, I used to turn my adrenaline on and of all the time as a kid, but someone said to me then, it can cause a heart attack, well being young and dumb, I forced myself to turn it of, and after about 15 years old, I’ve never been able to do it again. Now I’ve watched the ice man many times, over time, I wish I never did that.

  17. Ive done this for 2 months and havent noticed anything? I do 5 cycles all at once daily, usually during the evening. Im a chef and have access to deep freezers, ive done it in there hoping it would help. Any idea? I do exactly like hes said, except i dont take a break in between cycles. The only thing ive noticed is the tingly light headedness but as soon as i quit it goes away and i dont feel like its done anything.

  20. I participated in a demonstration of this recently. I think what's happening with this method is that it's a combination of breathing technique, with meditation, guided imagery, and the practice of inner surrender. Physically, I think I made myself dizzy from over oxygenation, and also tired for a few minutes, but then very energized afterwards. Results will probably vary from person to person, but one guy in the group had a full on transcendental ecstatic experience. First he started saying yes, then it got louder and louder until he was full on screaming as loud as he possibly fucking could…. and then he would try to outdo his last scream every time. Then they encouraged the room to join him, so there was a whole room of people screaming as loud as they could. The room eventually stopped screaming, but the original screaming guy would not be outdone, so he continued on, lol. Then he started screaming shit like, "I love you, oh my fucking God this is the most amazing experience of my life, this is worth more than a million dollars, I love everyone!!! NOTHING…. CAN STOP MEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" It was an experience just to even watch someone go through that.

  25. I tried Wim Hofs technique a few months back for the first time as prep to get into an ice bath… it worked really well. I didn’t continue doing it (just didn’t get round to it) but I tried it again tonight and felt tears streaming down my face by the second round. I know it’s supposed to be a physical response and I did get the tingling but I didn’t expect an emotional response… I guess I have a lot of pain I need to tap into and release. Going to keep at it this time! 🙂

    Try this, fill your lungs with air and fold but breath in and out, while full.
    Then empty all the air out, right to the bottom. And breath in and out while empty.

    We could desire. From now on, I'am only going to breath from the bottom of my lungs.
    But if you did that, you would slip into a deep state of medatation.

    Now, go back to your normal breath.

    Shallow breathing is when your not using the top or bottom of your lungs capacity.

    It causes Flem to build up in the upper and lower parts of the lungs.

    If you become aware of the breath.
    All breathing problems will go away.

    Let your self relax, become aware of you breath and let your breathing get smaller and smaller.

  29. Autonomic. Yogics have been doing it for thousands of years. And this guy seems really stressed out! Just saying.. And he only gives very vague instruction. Strange presentation.

  30. I was using his method for 7 days and after that i had a 2 days break because of parties. After that i have been sick since 3 days xD

  31. I did experience this breathing and the effect of this breathing regularly. I like the feeling. But this annoying description "How to never get sick again and become immune to illness with Wim Hof Method" is annoying…and his description as well! "get the bacteria and the bad cell and the virus or whatever is inside .. get it out..: … i mean what the big deal with Ebola in Africa? Just let them breathe in and out, repair and let them get out the virus… simple!
