The most common reason for changing somebody’s medication is actually to try and improve the care of their asthma. If somebody is getting symptoms with their asthma, they might need a stronger medication or a different medication. Over the years there have been lots of new inhalers come out and so what we try and do is try and tailor the medication and the inhaler device to suit you best so that if that drug isn’t suiting you, if that device isn’t one that you’re used to, Make an appointment with your GP, your nurse, or even your pharmacist and they can make sure that we get things right for you. If your asthma’s uncontrolled, then come and see us because obviously we’ll need to change it back to a different medication.
