Smoke from wood stoves and fireplaces can
make you sick. Wood smoke can give you a stuffy nose, make
your eyes water and even make you cough. It can also cause an asthma attack.
My grandma replaced her wood stove because I have asthma.
I’m happy that I can breathe better. To help protect your health and the health
of loved ones, find ways to reduce wood smoke. Go to epa.gov/burnwise.
